I grew up in the mountains of Colorado, which is something I'm very grateful for. It's in the mountains where my heart experiences so much life. Where my soul feels freer, and inspired. From the higher perspectives, elevations, beautiful Rockies and crags, to four full seasons, and crisp air.

This tattoo reminds me of where I've come from, it inspires me to never settle, to climb the next mountain, to explore, to take a risk, and step out of my comfort zones. That life is full of valleys and peaks.
The design is simple so that I remember to keep things simple, but it also reminds me that 'simple' doesn't mean easy. And that taking the easy route isn't the most rewarded. A piece of my heart is in the mountains. And, for me, whether or not I'm in the mountains, I'll never forget where I've come from and who has helped me along the way.
